Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,

From the available description, it appears that the best course of treatment for any abscess need to be followed which is D & C.

I understand that antibiotics are useful for breast abscess but in select cases, they are not sufficient for the treatment of the problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashok Kumar, Psychiatrist
