Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I went to the Dr. And got a test done the results where my uterus is retroverted my left ovary measures 4.4×23×2.9cm and demonstrates a likely dominant follicle measuring 1.7cm may be hemorrhagic. My question is what exactly does this mean? Can this make me unfertile? Should I consult a gynecologist about some type of procedure?
Hi dear..reteoverted uterus means it is slightly tilted towards spine..normally it's towards urinary bladder(known as anteverted)..there is not such danger such as infertility but it may cause you painful sensation from abdomen or sometimes burning micturation(urinary output) it usually comes back to normal position during pregnancy but surgical treatment and some exercise are also there which will be helpful but since it is related with pregnancy it is must to consult a gynaecologist for the best result..hope this helps you..thanks
