What Does Purple Discoloration Around The Eyes And Nose Indicate?

hi i woke this morning with a purple on the corner of my eye towards my nose , i dont recall rubbing it and certainly was not there last night , i do remember my eyes being a little watery last night when i was going to bed though. what could this sudden mark be

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It could be a hemorrhage in the white part of the eye or it could be an inflammation. The hemorrhage will clear up on its own but if you have any pain or watering, I would advice you to use Ketorolac eye drops.
