What Does Pulmonary Vascular Crowding On A CT Scan Report Indicate?

What does pulmonary vascular crowding indicate? I am a 57-year-old female, had a neuroendocrine tumor of the stomach removed recently, had an octreotide scan done to rule out any others (which was negative for those), but showed the pulmonary vascular crowding. Regular CT had also shown a pulmonary perifissural nodule (small, 6 mm). There were also scattered small cervical nodes on the octreotide CT - ?

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

According to the CT result, these nodules should be monitored continuously. It is not possible now to say the exact origin of them.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Jnikolla, Pulmonologist
