What Does Pain During Bowel Movement With Normal Bowels Indicate?

My 5.5 week old screaming in pain during bowel movement today at her evening bath time. She is breast fed. The bowel was normal when it eventually was passed. We are also using colic calm or her gas and colic. I give it in the evening at her Late night feed.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Non specific Intestinal colic is very common in infants. Children usually raise their intra-abdominal pressure for passing stools by crying.
If your baby is comfortable, there is no distension of abdomen and baby is accepting feeds well then there is no cause for concern.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care

Best Regards
