What Does Pain And Swelling In The Right Hand Indicate?
I have a very sore right hand. The pain is near the thumb and the hand has no strength. My fingers are tingly and my entire hand is tight . The entire hand is swollen so that one cannot see my knuckles.I do have RA and OA. I have not hand an injury of any kind.

Since how many years your suffering from ra?? Are you using any medicine??
The possible cause carpal tunnel syndrome due to rheumatoid arthritis along with hand joint cynovial inflammation cause edema.
Other causes may be
1.chronic steroid use cause CTS
2.diabetes
3.hypothyroidism etc
Treatment
1.NSAID
2.local steroid
3.DMARD'S
4.exercise
5 . splints
6.surgical decompression
