What Does Numbness And Biting Of Tongue Indicate?

I was hospitalized a few months ago for stomach ulcers. After i was out of the hospital a large portion of my leg went completely numb. Its been 3 months and still i have no feeling. I also have been having sudden pains all over my body nerve pain it comes and goes. I have balance problems and im worried because my grandmother has MS and was unable to walk at the age of 25. I am 21 and showing similar signs from what i have read of MS. Ive started biting my tongue while i sleep which is another sign. Im afraid to go to the doctor because of what they might say.. Does this sound like the early stages of MS to you?
