Hypoglycemia occur because there is an imbalance between the two- either you have eaten too less after taking the medicine, or the medicine taken is too high a dose for the amount of food eaten. In most diabetician communities, it is known that hypoglycemia is worse than having high sugars. So meet your diabetician to change the dose of the medicine while you control your pattern of diet.
