What Does Neoplastic Mass Lesion Involving Head Of Pancreas Mean?

My father Age : 65; Weight : 40kg; HB :9.0; Platele count: 1,35000.
CT scan of abdomen & pelvis is done in which shows neoplastiv mass lesion involving head of pancreas ( 15 X 11mms )
Also he is having problem of piles as the rectal prolapse now.
Unable to digest food & having continious diarrohea.

There is a possibility of ca head of pancreas.
Most common tumor of pancreas is pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma( 90%).among this 90%up to 60%of tumors accure at head of the pancreas. Remaining 40%develops at body and tail.

Remaining types are
- acinar cell carcinoma,
-Adeno squamous carcinoma
-colloidal carcinoma
-heptoid carcinoma
-intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm
-pancreatic intra epithelial neoplasia
-signet ring cell carcinoma
-solid papillary neoplasm
-undifferentiated carcinoma
-neuro endocrine tumors

Diagnosis :

Imaging tests that create pictures of your internal organs:CT,MI, Pet scan.
Using a scope to create ultrasound pictures of your pancreas : endoscopic ultrasound.
Removing a tissue sample for testing (biopsy).
Blood test:to detect tumor marker CA19-9.

Dont neglect the lesion consult your surgeon he will advice you in a right way.
Rectal prolapse and piles depending on the stage he requires treatment.
