I have constant tightness/ pain, sore throats, I had an XRAY....it says Possible nasopharygeal mass , Moderate to severe rightward nasal septal deviation with nasul spur....I know thats a Deviated Septum, (My nose) But my throat...it says Mucosal prominence of the adenoids (axial 15, sagittal tendon)...so if that;s why I feel such DISCOMFORT everyday re my throat, Higher neck area (i speak w/ high pitch too most times)...How / what do you do for that ? ...surgery?? Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion worrisome thing in your x ray is possibility of nasopharyngeal mass lesion. And due to this you are having all the symptoms like DNS, pain, problem in words etc. I will suggest you to confirm this with CECT Head and neck. This will give you exact idea about weather mass is there or not, size shape of the lesion and also association with surrounding structure s. So consult ENT surgeon with CECT head and neck report.
