What Does My Colonoscopy Report Indicate?
I take 50 mg paroxetine in a.m. I sleep w/ a CPAP and quetiapine (50mg) was prescribed after last sleep study showing my brain never really goes to sleep This combination allows me several periods of D-wave sleep each night, without feeling hungover next day. Today, I had colonoscopy at 2:50pm, sedated with Propfol. I verified w/ Dr s office ahead of time I could take my alprazolam (1.5 mg) at least 5 hours prior to procedure. Afterward, nurse advised I cannot take quetiapine before bed tonight. Not sure she realized dose is prescribed at such a low dose. Is this to great a risk?

Please write in with the colonoscopy findings to get an interpretation. The medicines you are taking need to be altered for a day as a precautionary measure.
Not taking a dose will not put you in any risk but as always there are certain guidelines to follow when you take other medicines like propofol.
