What Does My Colonoscopy Report Indicate?

I am a 73 yr old female, good health, always have my colonoscopy screenings on time never with any problem , no polyps until this one. Several found, removed. However 2 on right side which are benign but too large to be removed except by surgery according to my Dr. This is very frightening to me and wondering about other options if any.

Hello
let me assure you that those polyps are not cancer. some times the size of the polype is big which make it immpossible to be removed by the colonoscopy. For this reasone your doctor wants to remove them by surgery. unfortunatly there is no other way to remove them but the good news is that its a minor surgery which is now adays very is easy to be done.
Regards
