Hi,
I understand your concern.
The HSG test is done to visulize interior of uterus/ fallopian tubes -so as to find patency of fallopian tubes which is essential in conception.
The HSG report in question shows-
-Uterus is normal in size as well as uterine cavity is normal ( there are no filling defects indicating adhesion/ fibroid , nor there is any irregularity in the internal surface- which may cause hindrance in conception)
- The Right fallopian tube is normal in size & shape It is also patent ( Peritoneal spill indicates that).
- Left fallopian tube is swollen due to fluid collection( hydro salpings), But this fallopian tube also shows peritoneal spill ( it's patent)
* Overall HSG report is favorable for conception ,except for swelling of left fallopian tube.
- Pregnancy is possible with even one patent fallopian tube.
- The left tubal swelling can be treated by proper antibiotics, after certain investigations to find cause.
* So don't worry, consult you gynecologist.& start with your treatment for tube. & go ahead with your plans for conception.
Thanks.
