What Does Ischemia On EKG Indicate In Patient With Diffuse Cardiac Disease And Two Stents?
I am a 60 yr old female Hx diffuse cardiac disease CABG x 3 with two stents MLAD and PLAD. Experienced some pinching in chest today. EKG shows miderate right precordial repomarization disturbance consider ischemia or LV overload. Negative T in V2 with small negative T in V3. Abnormal EKG. I am out of town should I fax EKG to my cardiologist. No nausea vomiting Or SOB. j
HI Thank for asking to HCM I understand your concern, Just negative T wave in two chest lead and particularly in V2 and V3 should never be taken as sign of any ischemia, some time T wave shows negative voltage in V2 and V3 particularly in female patients the does not a be sign of ischemia, just relax and take it easy if you have history of stenting and CABG then other tests are very important rather than EKG, discuss this with your cardiologist have nice day.
