What Does High Epithelial Cells In Urine During Pregnancy Indicate?

I'm 34-week pregnant and just had a urine routine check up. In the report I have high epithelial cells (16).
Should I get alarmed for having such result?
While Gluocose, proteins, ketones, bilirubin, urobilinogen, blood, nitrite, leukocytes are all negative in my urine.
Thanks.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

It is quite common for pregnant women to experience urinary tract infections, and your epithelial level does indicate an infection although treating the infection depends entirely on your doctor and which antibiotics she/he uses. Although this is nothing to be alarmed about and is not anything to be concerned about.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
