What Does Hep B Surface 73.23 In Blood Test Suggest?

Hi, i work at Dr's office and I was doing a blood draw on a Patient. I had thought that the safety lock was on the used needle but it wasnt so I ended up sticking myself with a dirty needle in my right thumb. I had got my blood work done and got my result back. The Hep B surface Ab is at 73.23.. What does that mean?!?!?

Hello, Good to contact us. I am very glad to know you that you have anti Hbs is above 10 IU/ml which is a cut of to decide that you are devoid of good antibodies in your blood. You have 73.23. You have not described the unit of your anti Hbs, but I think that it is IU/ml and so you do not requires any further action. If I am your advising doctor I would like to add that at this particular moment you do not require any further action because of your high antibody titre against hepatitis B surface antigen. If you have any thing else to ask you can contact me. Thanks Dr. Arun Tank
