What Does Flashing Light In The Field Of Vision Indicate?

I am taking tramadol for cancer pain, low dose one at night. It helps me with the pain, to fall asleep and stay asleep. I was taking prednisone for swelling for a blood transfusion I had on the 1st. Otherwise I don t take anything. I have been seeing flashing lights out of the side of my eyes and having a headache between my eyes. Could either of these be causing that?

it indicates degenerative problem in retina like hole tear or peripheral detachment. it requires fundus examination and review every 6 months to watch the progress. if there is peripheral detachment , then it can be sealed by laser beam aplication. there should be tapering of prednisolone or it will induce problem of steroid like retinopathy diabetis hypertention. consult retina specialist for examination and advise on treatment.tramadol is analgesic which is not related to your problem.
