What Does Eosinophil Counts In The Test Report Suggest?

I have been having abdominal pain for the last 3 months and I have recently gotten an ultrasound of my gallbladder, liver and pancreas all negative. My labs came back and everything was normal except the Eosinophil which was 2.0 K/uL range 0.0-0.7 and it was 27% on a 0-8% scale. My pain is mid abdomen and comes on about 30 minutes after I eat occasionally primarily after I eat pasta or tomatoes. Can you help me understand the lab numbers better and if it might be high because of my abdominal pain.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Eosinophils are elevated in a number of conditions, common ones being allergies like hay fever, asthma, urticaria, parasitic infestation, drug reaction, drug allergy and some neoplasms.
There is an idiopathic group also wherein there is no known cause for elevated eosinophils.
Further investigations are required to investigate for above mentioned conditions to determine the cause of eosinophilia and thus plan management.

Thanks and take care
