What Does Endometrium Inhomogeneous With Some Cystic Spaces Mean?
Hi, I was just diagnosed yesterday by an gynaecological ultrasonography....endometrium thickness total 9.9 mm. Also endometrium inhomogeneous with some cystic spaces within. I had a d and c 2 years ago and a fibroid removed at the time. No bleeding ever..however I am concerned (about cancer) can only get to speak to my doctor next week. Is this worrisome
Hello dear I understand your concern I have undergone through your USG report Small cystic spaces and inhomogeneous endometrium could be due to endometrial hyperplasia, adenomyosis. Endometrial biopsy will help in diagnosis of dysplasia. Birth control pill/progesterone pill, GNRH agonist can be useful for above cause. So consult the gynecologist and take proper advise. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise. Hope this may help you
