What Does Chest Tightness With Painful Arms Indicate?

I m having very bad chest pains and it hurts when a take deep breaths, almost sharp/tightness pain in the center of the chest. It also hurts when I get up or move my arms but hurts alil when I walk. Also feeling light headed Am I having a heartattack?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have chest tightness with painful arms . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like acid reflux , chest infection , muscle spasm and viral infection . But in your case the symptoms are probably due to heart condition known as angina . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist without any delay . Doctor may order ECG , TMT , complete blood profile , chest X-ray and sometimes angiography to confirm the diagnosis and rule out condition like acid reflux . For now take proper rest and do not exert our body .
