What Does Changing Levels Of Anti-HCV Indicate?

Hi Dr, I was exposed to hcv three months ago. Did anti-HCV after 4 weeks it was 0.2 negative. So did another one 3 months it is 0.1 negative. The lab told me it s a real negative but I don t understand why the change in those numbers, because I did one in 2009 it was 0.2 negative like the one I did 4 weeks after my expo

Anti-HCV antibody test is done by ELISA every testing kit has a cut off value below that are negative and above it are positive.readings depend on the type of kit used.Your values were reported as negative in both cases that is good.Take care!
