Hello and welcome to HCM,
A Pap test is done to detect malignant changes i the cervix.
In case of abnormal Pap test, a repeat Pap test is done or a biopsy is done.
The biopsy reveals fragments of ecto and endocervix- these two are components of cervix.
However, no malignant or neoplastic change is noticed.
In addition, there is infiltration of chronic inflammatory cells comprising of lymphocytes and plasma cells.

Thanks and take care
