What Does A Wrinkle In The Retina Indicate?

I have a wrinkle in my retina. I have mono vision. The wrinkle is in my near sited left eye. I want to wait to have Dr Pitcher here in Albuq, NM do surgery because of the long recovery time of 4 to 6 weeks. I want to play golf as long as possible 2-3 months. What do you think about waiting?
