Hi I have white patch on both my eyes close to the eyelash line it s mostly itchy and sometimes I get pressure behind my right eye. But don t feel any pain. I have hsv 1 and hsv 2 and I have rosacea. How do I know if what s on my eyes is roseacea or herpies. Pls help. And should I see a eye specialist? I m currently on doxycyclin and co-cyclovir for both. Is there anything els I should be doing to prevent worse symptom.

Hello It seems from the history that you are having white patch along the eye lash line associated with itching. These symptoms indicate blephatitis and it is most commonly associated with ocular rosacea. The treatment is by lid scrubs and use of antibiotic eye ointment.
