Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

There cannot be a bone sticking out of neck. It may be either a lymph node that has hardened or enlarged thyroid gland or any other swelling of the neck. Since you have a feeling of something sticking in your throat its better you consult a surgeon and get evaluated as to what the swelling is. An X-ray, or sometimes CT scan or endoscopy may be required to make the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards-
Dr Sanjay Kini
