Hi, I am 21 years old, female. Yesterday I noticed this vaginal pimple in the inner side of my labia minor, more towards the mouth. I was also having loose motions but that was because I had food outdoors which must have caused it. I never used to have such pimples before until this June, when a small bump erupted. I used hot compress at that time and visited a gynecologist/dermatologist who told me that it might be genital eczema due to constant rubbing of that part with a sanitary pad or similar synthetic material. That led to a series of bumps: one came erupted and ceased, giving rise to another around the same location at the other side of vaginal lip. I was anxious and visited another doctor (family doctor this time) who told me that this might be a fungal/bacterial infection too. So, I was supposed to take fluconazole (150 mg) for a week and then once in a week for the next three weeks. I was also on a topical antibiotic cream and used to wash that area regularly. It was in August that the series of bump eruptions ended. Now, it seems this one might give rise to another series. Is it a common issue with females of my age? Will it cease or is it something else infesting in my body?
