What Do White And Red Spots On Soft Palate Indicate?
My three year old has small white and red spots on the soft palate of his mouth. He had a fever of 103 yesterday, none today. Hasn't eaten anything strange, except possibly a few pieces of bird seed when we were making feeders an hour ago. What could this indicate? Should I take him to the ER today or try to get an appointment with his primary care physician tomorrow?

he could have oral thrush or candidal infection. oral nystatin is the treatment. you should have your doctor look at your child and take it from there.
