What Do These Uterus Ultrasound Test Results Indicate?

These findings were 2 weeks ago and the pain keeps gettin worse. I m scared to go back in right away incase I m being a baby. 1. Complex cystic 4.1 cm right ovarian lesion. A hemorrhagic ovarian cyst is favored. Recommend correlation with a followup pelvic ultrasound in 6-8 weeks for further evaluation. A hemorrhagic ovarian cyst a decrease in size or resolved over this time.. 2. Unremarkable uterus and left ovary. 3. Small amount of free pelvic fluid, likely physiologic. Could this be more than just a cyst?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is understandable to be concerned but it is possible that the pain and additional symptoms are due to the ovarian cyst.

An ovarian cyst can sometimes not have any complications but in other causes hemorrhage (bleeding- as in your case), infection or rupture can occur.
These may require treatment.

Since the pain is getting worse, to avoid any further complications, it would be best to see your doctor as soon as possible.

I hope this helps
