What Do Shortness Of Breath And Difficulty In Swallowing Indicate?

I had a biopsy on a lymph node on my neck Wednesday. Cancer cells were present but this is not the primary site. Pathology is not back. The only possible related symptoms could be some shortness of breath. But I am over weight and some difficulty in swallowing at times no pains even in the lymph nodes. CT showed nodes both sides and front of neck affected but haven t had scan below neck area yet. Possible types?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are having biopsy proven metastatic lymphnodes.
This means you are having primary cancer somewhere in the body.
You are having shortness of breath and difficulty in breathing. So possibility of esophageal or lung cancer is more.
So you should get done CT scan of thorax and upper GI (gastrointestinal) scopy.
These tests will identify the primary site of cancer.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
