What Do Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Chills On The 18th Day Of The Cycle Indicate?
I’m having lower abdominal cramps that feel just like PMS cramps, but I’m only on day 18 of my cycle. I also have lower back pain and chills. I missed one birth control pill this month and am concerned that I could possibly have conceived on day 14 of my cycle, which was not quite a week after the missed pill. Could this possibly be early pregnancy symptoms? I have 2 children but never experienced chills with those pregnancies.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If you have skipped just one pill & resumed with the pills after that regularly. Possibility of conception seems to be rare. And even if you conceive, you need to get rid of pregnancies (as you are on the oral contraceptive pills). Your symptoms also could be due to bladder infection. Which needs to be examined for &treated as per need. Consult your gynecologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
