What Do Elevated Bilirubin And WBC Levels Indicate?

My father is 86 years old and had some recent abnormal blood work elevated alk phosphate, and bili slightly elevated and elevated WBC and low potassium and sodium. No symptoms but because of these they did a abdominal Us which showed fullness at the tip of his pancreas. He is having a CT scan tomm. with and without contrast and just worried as he is. I am a nurse so am over thinking this.

Hello welcome to the health care magic

Liver, and pancreatic pathology can lead elevated bilirubin level.

Continue with CT scan investigation and from that investigation, we can think further work up...

So don't worry and wait for report.

If it comes infective pathology than antibiotic course prescribed and if any mass revealed from CT scan than biopsy needed for further work up

Hope your concern solved

Take care
