hi, iam 60 years old ,male, pat of diabetes mellitus from past 15 years, with hypertension ,oedema in legs,recently diagnosed with kidney disease. taking medicatios for bp,kidney disease. please guide me........... so i want 2 know diet for diabetic pat with kidney disease sir,thanks for ur ans............................. ihave one more query?? I am taking medicine on time these are amlodac, metxl 50 mg, arkamine, pantoacid,eidofe,glimer[,inj epofit once a week] instead of all this i have pitting odema in legs from last 15 days. i keep mah leg 45 degree leg raise position...........so at the time of rest my sweelling disappear again appear as i use to stand more than 20 min............ what precation further i take 2 cure myself................................. wheather i use stocking or not ?? if yes......... so pls tell m resistance for this..............

Thanks for query,
You have got diabetic nephropathy,
take less protein,less salt diet,moderate potassium salt,
Avoid non veg.
Take fruits containing low fat and carbohydrate.

SEND ALL YOUR REPORTS INCLUDING ..S.CREAT HB//ESR / A. ALBUMIN / URINE R/M ESP FOR PROTEINS , YOUR RENAL ULTRASOUND , LATEST BP , HbA1c levels ....u should take diet rich in veg proteins ,less of salts , and restrict your fluid intake .... rest after your feedback .You can contact me at: luxman02@gmail.com with all your details including medicines .your test reports, your other illnesses ,how regular with treatment.
