What Could Swollen Lymph Node In Groin And Inner Thigh Suggest?

Found two swollen lymph nodes in my inner thigh after ultrasound. Nine months ago I found a swollen lymph node in the groin area. The whole area of my groin and leg are very achy and tender to the touch. Doctors say not to worry, and going for my 2nd MRI. What do you think???

Hello,

It could be lymph node and it is the physiologically presented there, most of the time the size of lymph node is little bigger and it may not be swelling.

If the lymph node is inflamed, then it must be having some other sign like fever fatigue, malaise, and for that underlying cause needs to be ruled out or found out, but here in your case it may not be like that, so just no need to worry about this.

If you do not have any symptoms that might not be correlated with lymph nodes, only advise can be given is to keep your eye open for any symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Husain
