What Could Pinkish Thin String Of Skin Near Vagina Indicate?
I lost my virginity about a day ago. I knew about the hymen and how can tear from sexual intercoarse and masterbation. I am really worried about something. My hymen tore after sex but something strange happened. There is a pinkish thin string that is hanging out of where I had sexual intercoarse. I noticed that it torn. Is this my hymen or something else?

After sexual intercourse and masturbation your hymen broke. You can see thin string like thing hanging from the vagina. After hymen breaks broken pieces of skin can be seen at the opening of the vagina. The breaking may be accompanied by some light spotting (which is perfectly normal), and some pain which shouldn’t last long.
If there is persistent pain there is infection or some other cause, avoid all sexual activities until the pain and bleeding has fully ended. You may need to take some preventive medications (like a course of doxt-100) for infections. Bits of skin hanging down in this area are usually remnants of the hymen, but it can be the flap of skin from the inner lips (labia minor) that surround the vaginal entrance.
If one of the lips is longer than the other it may seem to hang down, but you don’t have to worry about it, it is perfectly normal. Do not do anything by yourself, see a gynecologist. It will be clinically examined and managed if required. Take care of hygiene.
