What Could Painful Ears & Eyes And Mild Hearing Loss After Head Injury Indicate?

My son was playing soccer 2 days ago, ball hit him in side of head on ear, today his ear still hurts, now hurts behind eye, slightly dizzy, no bleeding or discharge from ear but some loss of hearing ( mild). He is 14 yo..is this ER visit worthy or just dr appt?

He may have a concussion and needs to be monitored closely. He could also have some bleeding in the brain. He should go to the ER to get at least a Head CT scan. Thank you.
