What Could Orangish Discharge With Little Blood With History Of Having Unprotected Sex Indicate?

I'm having orangish discharge with a little blood (not enough to be a period) 3 days before I'm supposed to have my period. I missed a pill 3 days ago and had sex without protection the same night. The discharge doesn't smell or itch at all. What's going on?? Email me at YYYY@YYYY

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

There is nothing much to worry about this condition as it can be due to normal periods coming before time. Do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy after a week.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
