I have had pain under my left rib cage. I recently had an ecocardiogram and they said everything was withing normal levels. I do have a lot of heartburn and stomach pain at times. The pain only hurts when pressur is applied. Someone hugged me and squeezed and the pain hurt there from that. Any suggestions?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the given history is suggestive of hyperacidity (Acid peptic disease) and it must be ulcer formation, I would suggest to avoid heavy meal prior to bed, even stop drinking alcohol, stop smoking, try to lie down in inclination position, in differential diagnosis it could be biliary colic like pancreatitis,, if the pain is in renal area or near it then it could be renal stone condition, I would suggest to consult the physician for further work up, mean while Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day can be tried, hope this information helps.
