It started 2 weeks after he ws born where his poop will be extremely smelly. And the pedi explained it as a stomach infection and gave hm antibiotics, it stopped and came back 2 weeks later we though maybe it the milk and changed hs formular frm similac advance to enfamil gentlease lipil and his poop ws fine for few days and now back to foul smelling again, the frequency has also reduced from over 5 times a day to once or twice a day! General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most possible reason is intestine flora disturbances from milk formula.

In our clinic, we recommend only breast feed at one month age, should stop all milk formulas, follow up stool for 5 to 7 days, and consult later accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
