What Could Cause Whiteheads On Penile Shaft In A 6 Months Old Child?

I just changed my 6month old son and noticed 3 small like whiteheads on the extra skin on the penile shaft near the head he has a little extra skin from where they curcumsized him I often put A&D ointment on that area to keep yeast from forming and causing the skin to stick. Would this greasy ointment cause whiteheads. They dont seem to be painful to him or red and irritated what could the cause of this be?

Hi... by what you quote I feel that what you are seeing in the region could be smegma. This is not a disease, it is a physiological phenomenon. I do not suggest applying any cream or ointment in the region. Recurrent washing with soap and water will settle the issue. If still it is recurring then I suggest you consult your pediatrician regarding this.
