What Could Cause Unusual Vaginal Bleed For A Month?

I have been bleeding for a month. I don't have any type of pain or anyting? What could be some of the causes? Im afraid to really go to the doctor. Because I have been reading different thing online that I could be pregnant. I don't want that news. Although, I have had protective and unprotective sex. In December I had my regular period, and everything seem normal. I need answers please.
