What Could Cause Stye In Both Eyes?

I had mohs surgery on head to remove basil cell three weeks ago. Two weeks ago I had a stye in left eye. A week later I have a stye in the other eyes. Can this be a reaction to the local anesthetic they gave me in the head. I went to eye Dr two weeks ago but never told him about the basil cell. I did not think it could have be related. I do have another appointment monday but this is getting me upset because I feel another one coming back to left eye.
