What Could Cause Small White Painful Bumps On The Bottom Of The Feet?
My college aged daughter (at school in another city) texted me about an hour ago regarding small, white, painful bumps on the bottom of her feet. I am wondering what these might be. As she is away, I have not seen them; I think she is asleep now, so I can not ask her further questions. Thank you.
I can understand your concern for small white painful bumps on the bottom of the feet.
It can be a simple infection or pompholyx due to allergic process.
She should meet your treating doctor to rule out any secondary infection. Do not try to even touch or pinch the area as can cause more aggravation of the problem and spread of the infection. This area is quite common to get infected very easily because of sweating and high bacterial proliferation.
