Urologist 's  Response
Hello Jean and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me advise you, that with each deep breath, the kidney moves downwards, and upwards as you breathe out.
If the kidney is affected by any inflammation or infection or swelling, the pain is felt and becomes more severe, if not treated.
You must find out the cause for the kidney pain, by doing certain tests, like urine routine and culture, blood urea and creatinine, and an ultrasound scan of kidney. Get an Urologist to examine you.You may send the reports here, for an expert opinion,in my name. Dr.Matthew Mangat.
