Hello,

A single episode of irregular spotting does not warrant further evaluation. However, if the issue persists, you will need to follow up with your ObGyn to rule out hormonal imbalances / utero-ovarian pathologies.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
