I've been on the pill since November of 2010 and had spotting during November, December, and January. I've only missed one pill ever and that was at the end of December when I turned my phone off by accident. I haven't had sex since December when I was with my boyfriend. I had my period in January with extensive spotting that eventually stopped and all through February I hadn't had any spotting. I had my period when I was supposed to during the brown pill row which was on February 9. I went through a week with no problems and it didn't happen until now that I'm getting bleeding again, except this bleeding is heavier and I'm experiencing cramping, it feels almost like a second period about a week apart? I haven't missed any pills since that one time at the end of December, so I am pretty confused as to what is going on. I've started taking the pill not only for more protection when having sex, but because I used to have terribly irregular periods where it would skip between a month to three months, as well as my very extreme PMS symptoms. I haven't had sex since December because my boyfriend is in the Marines and we are in a long distance relationship and I do not cheat. I've read online through various sources that the bleeding could be from stress but I'm not sure? I have indeed been very stressed out over the past two weeks because of school and some family problems. Could that be it? Any help is greatly appreciated.
