What Could Cause Itchiness And Spots Around Vagina ?

hi doctor hoping you are fine , my wife gave birth 3 weeks before and there is no blood now , this encouraged me to have sex with her .but after intercourse she feeling itchy in the vagina and small spots of blood was experienced (giving birth was by vagina)

Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
early resumption of intercourse after child birth is not recommended as the vagina is not yet healed and returned to pre pregnancy state. risk of infection is also high. I would recommend delaying coitus to 8 weeks post delivery.
the itching and the spotting may resolve in a day or two.
