What Could Cause Intense Stomach Pain And Vomiting During Early Pregnancy?
Hi I am only about 6 weeks pregnant but every morning I eat I get extremely intense stomach pain. Within an hour or so I have a bm but the pain doesn't go away. It hurts so much I threw up from it. Is this normal. I feel like my digestive system is not working right and I am constipated already. Please help!
Hello, Morning sickness is a common phenomenon occurring in early pregnancy at least up to 3 or 4 month of pregnancy mainly due to changes in hormonal level / low sugar level and sometimes due to emotional stress, fatigue or some food . This do not affect the health of baby until severe vomiting occur. But you should be more concerned about intense stomach pain as mild pain is also a common phenomenon during early pregnancy but severe & persistent pain should not be ignored as it occur in several conditions like- Ectopic pregnancy, placental abruption, pre eclampsia UTI etc. You should consult a gynaecologist for management. Go for an abdominal USG to know the foetal well being. Avoid taking large meal at a time, smoking, medications. take high protein and complex carbohydrate diet. Take care bye.
