What Could Cause High Fever In A 2 Years Old Child?

My two year old has been running A high fever for 3 days now along with swollen gums and what would seem like a small blister on the inside of his lower lip. Once the fever goes down he is very active and eats reasonably well. Could this be some type of gum infection?

Hi,

Yes,it can be a viral infection or urinary infection( especially in girls.

Paying when not febrile is a good sign that the infection is not serious or severe!

Good luck
