What Could Cause Heavy Blood Flow ?

Hello I m 16 years old and I had protected sex. My last period started January fourth. I experienced light bleeding on February first and it was light until February 3rd but today it became a little bit heavier, but not heavy. It is the color of my normal period, just lighter. It shows up on my pad, in the toilet and when I wipe. Please help

Hello,you did not mention about the mode of contraception used. Sometimes stress also causes irregular periods and also sometimes if you have used contraceptive pills, you may experience irregular periods. I would suggest you to do a urine pregnancy test first to rule out pregnancy, in case it turns out to be positive, you may have to consult your gynaecologist for further management.hope I was helpful to you.
