What Could Cause Heartburn, Nausea And Severe Pain In Stomach?

Hi my name is Rhena my boyfriend and i have been together for almost 2 years. Starting his srenior year of highschool he has been having some crazy stomach problems. He is now 22 so the problems started 4-5 years ago. His attacks are completely random his symptoms are heartburn nausea and severe pain in his stomach. Also it could be 1 to like 5 months apart but sometimes his pain can last for a week. I have taken him to the er but all they really do is drug him up n send him home. We have went to specialists and had ultrasounds and scans and labsdone however nothing ever shows up they all come back fine. He is sleeping next to me and moaning because hes still in pain. I dont know if anybody can help me. I sit here and cry with him and rub his belly n hold his hand so but i dont know wat more i can do?

- psychosomatic manifestation of underlying mental instability .
- related to intake of smoking or alcohol .
- other systemic disorders need to be evaluated with endoscopy
and 24 hr . esophageal pH manometry .
